Milestones


Red Eléctrica de España subjected our DLR sag monitoring sensor to a unique and exhaustive operational test, in which the precision of the sag values reported by the sensor was evaluated in a real (typical –400 m–) span. Our DLR sag measurement device was validated by the operator, and selected from among several competitors as the ideal one for a small (pilot) deployment in various power transmission lines at Spain.
In this period Taubox S.L., the trademark of Relogable for railway projects, develops a reliable hardware/firmware for signalling management systems embarked in trains, passing the rigorous validation processes of systems with security integrity level (SIL) 4.

In this period also begins
the validation of the ECB device developed by Taubox S.L. The ECB is a portable device for the supervisión of the quality
and frequency of ASFA beacons deployed in the Spanish railway infrastructure.

In the midst of the global crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Relogable overcomes many barriers by strengthening its network of suppliers and assembly workshops, being able to manage the production of the first batch of DLR sag monitoring devices, called DLR-BS. More than 70 DLR-BS units were developed and installed throughout the Spanish power grid during 2020-2021 period, on lines of both Red Eléctrica de España and ENEL. The DLR-BS system was validated in all the installations of the pilot.

Due to the success of the DLR-BS sag measurement system, Relogable S.L. incorporate major design improvements like: (i) the elimination of the base station (with all functionality integrated in the sensor installed on the conductor), (ii) no battery requirements, (iii) the integration of a dual (Sigfox + NB) redundant communication to avoid/mitigate connectivity problems in remote locations, (iv) a robust, ligth and compact design to ease installation, and (v) the incorporation of conductor temperature and current sensors, among others. These devices are called DLR-SAG devices.

Relogable S.L. manages the manufacturing of a major batch of DLR-SAG devices to be installed in the Spanish power grid, by Red Eléctrica de España. More than 350 devices were deployed along the territory, and are in continuous validation and fully operative.

Relogable S.L. participates in a test lead by Elewit / Redeia and supervised by european operators, with the aim to evaluate the performance of DLR sensors of various (global) manufacturers. Similar to the 2019 exhaustive test, in this test the sag was intentionally modified by conductor’s heating only for a short period of 3 hours and in a small (real but not typical span of 70 m).

In this period Taubox S.L., the trademark of Relogable for railway developments, manage the production of more tan 4500 G3-PLC devices to be deployed in modules of the signalling system of the Spanish railway infrastructure. With this project Relogable acquires experience in massive device production.

Relogable S.L. stars to design its DLR suite, including:
- The DLR-LOAD sensor, a device to measure the (over) load of conductors,
- The DLR-METEO sensor, a meteorological station,
- A software for data monitoring and ampacity computation, integrating all the collected data to be able to develop predictive (24 hours) ampacity computations.
